I'm just not buying the Walt spinning anymore. Not the Democrat by successive approximations bullcrap nor the well he's better than Sali. A brick is better than Sali and probably less Republican than Walt.
I have been disappointed from the beginning, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet. I guess I'm kinda confused. I think the Republicans are enjoying the hell out of this situation...knowing they still get the votes, with the added benefit of skewering the Democrats, and they'll get their own guy in at the mid-terms. Win win for them, as usual.Sigh.
You have more hope than me, Darlene. I knew the gig was up when voted against FOR the Lilly Ledbetter Equal Pay Act, but AGAINST the Paycheck Fairness Act - one of 3 Democrats:Representatives Bobby Bright(D-AL), Parker Griffith (D-AL) voted against both bills.
